HOW IT WORKS
The SiteMana image code should be placed in the header of the site. This allows it to track all pages on that website. Being invisible & uber-lightweight, it should not impact performance at all.
Data posts in real-time to the SiteMana network platform. Data can be exported out of the platform to many formats i.e. Microsoft Excel comma separated value file.
DATA PROVIDED TO END-USER
The file may include data such as name, email, pages-visited on your website, address, marital status, gender, asset ownership, etc as long as the data is available. Note that we do not readily provide phone numbers for legal purposes. In some instances, you may see different record ID’s but it ends up the same person. This happens because we may have more than one device ID for a person or that it's two people who use the same computer/email so one receives data on both.
DATA ACCURACY STANDARDS
There are a dozen-plus proprietary data attributes that have to be satisfied in order to make a precise match. IP address is also used as a 13th data point as a geographical verification. As for the accuracy of the email, we pride our network as having the highest industry rates and typically see 50-75% of the emails as deliverable.
DOES SITEMANA USE IP ADDRESS FOR MATCHING?
For precise matching, the answer is no. However, it is used for double authentication. When geo-locating an IP address the latitude and longitude returned will be a 0.5 mile radius that encompasses the actual location of the physical address where that IP comes from. This is referred to as "the last half mile" within the telecommunications and physical logistics industry. After SiteMana's proprietary algorithms determine the true location of the consumer, a geography check is completed to ensure the user is within this 0.5 radius using the IP Addresses latitude and longitude coordinates.
HOW IS THIS DATA GATHERED?
SiteMana data comes from all walks of life. Thousands of sources including SiteMana's CRM, online data, offline data, transactional data, real property records, public records, consumer data archives, external CRM data, as well as large individual publishers and more. When a user visits a site with the SiteMana code, the image fires and a series of real-time queries start processing. Data is returned from the triangulations, a deep-mapping is built and a very precise match process is run. While this sounds like a lot, it all happens in under 450 milliseconds (0.0045 seconds).
